Seattle is Seeing More Development than it has in a Decade!

Marc Stiles reports that with “106 active projects, 3,487 new apartments: This is the most development Seattle has seen in a decade.” According to Stiles, “downtown Seattle’s construction boom is being fueled by Amazon.com’s growth,” and includes “106 projects currently under construction, about to break ground or completed since January 2014.”

Stiles also says that in “the Lower Queen Anne, Capitol Hill and Sodo neighborhoods,” “20 projects broke ground and 24 finished construction” during the first half of the year, and that “three dozen projects are projected to be done by the end of the year.”
